I AM A CROSSMARK EMPLOYMENT ON SUSPENION FOR FALSEAFIDE INFORMATION THEY ARE SAYING BUT FAR FROM THE TRUTH. IT WAS GOING TO BE MY SECOND DAY OF WORK IN WHICH I BECAME SICK COUGHING. ALL OF A SUDDEN I WAS AND STILL STRUGGLING TO TAKE CARE OF MY CHILD BUT COULDN'T GO IN BECAUSE OF THE COUGHING. THE VERY NEXT DAY I REALLY TRIED TO MAKE AN EFFORT TO MAKE BUT THE COUGHING GOT WORST BUT BEFORE I LEFT OUT TO GO TO WORK I DECIDED TO POST MY PAYROLL BEFORE I LEFT REASON BEING WHEN I HAD MY IN STORE TRAINING I WASNT TRAINED EXACTLY ON HOW TO DO IT ACCURATELY SO I KNEW THAT MY PAY WASNT GOING TO BE ACCURATE SO THAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF DOING IT EARLIER. I WAS NEW TO EVERYTHING AND WAS STILL TRYING TO GRASP THE CONCEPT OF EVERYTHING. I WAS FEELING WORST SO I WENT TO THE DOCTOR AS A LAST MOMENT DECISION NO PREMEDITATED ANYTHING WHY WOULD I WANNA JEOPARDIZE A JOB THAT WAS MUCH NEEDED BY DOING SOMETHING FOOLISH ALL I THOUGHT WAS FEELING BETTER AND PROVIDING FOR MY SON. WHEN I TALKED TO MY SUPERVISOR IT WAS THOUGH I WAS TALKING WITH SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE SHE APPEARED TO BE UNDERSTANDING AND NICE FROM A MOTHER WOMEN VIEW ANYWAYS SHE TOLD ME I WAS SUSPENED AND SAID NOT TO EVER CONTACT HER AGAIN AND THAT SHE WILL CONTACT ME WHEN A DECISION WAS MADE. THAT CALL IS NEVER GOING TO COME. I THINK SHE FELT A SENSE OF EMBARRASSMENT THAT SHE HAD HIRED ME IN THE FIRST PLACE AND WHEN SHE SAID IM RUNNING A BUSINESS THATS WHEN I REALLY KNEW I DIDNT HAVE A CHANCE

This was written a couple of years ago, so, yes, I did spend my time more wisely afterward!
Working full time now for a great company. And, yes, I am still a merchandiser.
The good jobs in this field are out there; just keep working at it and gaining experience. It pays, in the end.

While I have nothing good to say about Crossmark, other than they hired me, I think your perspective is a little off and your energy would be better spent directed elsewhere.

That one thing is money they could care less about ethics and how to treat employees right and with respect and decency. It's a real bummer some bigger stores don't just up and ban those companies and their reps or employees from ever entering their stores and then just hire locally for their merchandising stuff. It's called outsourcing but they're so darned cheap about it and I don't just mean on pay but on the qualifications and skills of their "management" teams. The only sleazy company I used to work for that I actually got a response from and there's no proof that the person who rebutted actually works there was PRS aka Premium Retail. The person who fired back in no way was professional about it and she illegally disclosed confidential company information about an employee or a former employee on a public domain and website. that's a violation of company law and protocol. It could get your butt fired Sue from PRS but like you care sitting their in your ivory tower in Chesterfield, MO or wherever it is. Lucky for you and other sleazy companies like this we don't drag your butts into the courts and even worse show up at the corporate offices, protest and get you the negative types of media attention other big firms have gotten over the years. Wish the media would do more in depth reporting on these frauds like PRS, Crossmark etc.

The fact that Crossmark never reacts to any of the postings shows they don't got it together when it comes to employee relations. I worked at similiar online companies as advertised. I discovered how badly they treat employees with working conditions. Sick days are made into a threat working with these sleazy companies. Any real company has guidelines put together for employee problems. Crossmark is a cheap company.

Speaking of mileage, my company just got bought by Crossmart and my job entails driving ALOT. My mileage re-embursement went from .36 cents per mile to .31 cents per mile. They gave me a dollar raise to make up for it. I also have to eat the first 40 miles where at my last company they paid for all mileage. I am scared because I have read such horror stories and do not want to be scewed.

I worked at Crossmark for 1yr almost 2yrs before I started working at the Sam's Club I was demoing at and I have never really got anything from them beside so many rules like report by 9pm that day or you get a write up and the supervisor wanted your Crossmark password so he/she can check to make sure my supervisor was a d**k I asked for a day off and so I can spend it with my girlfriend and i was told you need to stop doing that when your asking for more days to work but I was not really getting more days and I was also threaten that my days will be shorten if I go near the demo room when shopping and the demo room for us was next to aisle 40 Coffee/Water I was tempted at returning my Sam's Card I paid for because of the supervisor and working with Sam's Club they HATE to lose a member oh and when we work 6hrs we only get a 30min lunch and not a 15min break as well stated by law because Sam's Club make sure your taking you breaks because it the law when you work 5hrs you get 1 break 6hr 1 break and 1 lunch 8hrs 2breaks and 1 lunch.

I just terminated at will my employment with them. Laura Anguello from San Jose California who claims to cover my state Idaho while I have Stephanie Snow a really nice lady from Washington covering that state as far as managment goes. Well Laura falsely acused me of falsifying hours on some store visit that never showed up on my calendar and was pining for info to try and get my butt fired. She sort of succeeded but only as far as my being put on admin leave from my field representative job until such a time our supposed HR in TX could investigate. The point is yes they are breaking the law in all 50 states and Crossmark knows it. They by law have to pay us for every second worked from the admin time spent online on the sales track system all non in store time that is finding work, reporting it, scheduling it, accepting or rejecting assignments, making any related calls to Crossmark, the clients or client stores, name brands etc., all the email stuff, all the crossmark citrix or crossmark connect related stuff. Basically if it is work related the IRS states by law it must be paid to the employee not to the company that includes all the time spent in ones vehicle that is work related yet these suckers get away with highway robbery and only paid us mediocre rates per hour and then our managers are a*s holes so to speak as far as how they treat us. Is it any wonder the turn over for this company is so high? They pay off professional liars aka recruiters to sucker you into the job and then the managers treat you like crap. The only nice ones I dealt with was at corporate itself and especially our third party highered out of Mexico by the way tech support call center. Chrissy Merafuentez and Laura Anguelo are in my opinion two bitches in the same pod and PMSING big time. You don't argue with them. They don't hear what they want to hear they find excuses to fire you and trust me they take it personally when you report their sorry butts to our HR. If I were you person who posted this original post I'd leave the job and come and work for ASM. I just got hired there and the manager for the NW lives right near you over there in the Seattle Area. She's quite nice. Email me back some time and I'll give you her personal number if I can find it. Best wishes but I'd leave the sinking Crossmark ship asap. They need to be sued big time and I want personal damages from that Anguelo and Merafuentez couple. The only one who treated me right was Stephanie Snow and trust me she's in the wrong line of work if she wants to be so nice about it. Crossmark sucks period.
