I hope you do get the message that not all was bad . It is what it is. This is a place to learn about DOT, get your experience and bounce . Belive me when i tell you the grass is greener on the other side . The pay is one thing but the attitude of some, not all fleet managers is really out of hand .not to blame because they do go thru a lot , Mr Nick Larkson was fired a week after i left for similar issues . Maybe i got the one that took it to a personal level and didnt submit my layovers . I have been driving for a car carrier since i left crst and my worst week is twice as much as my best one with CRST . I dont wanna sound like i am bragging about it but do your research and work somewhere that not only payd better but treat you with respect , call you by your name and you feel like home . Also respects your home time when its due . Driving solo also was a great deal . I dont put my live on the hands of another driver because my family needs me . Home so i sleep better, good luck man and have safe travels .

If you sit for more than 48 hours you get $40.00 a day detention pay. Your money issues are your own fault.
