Kay, As a trusted and highly rated insurance provider since 1991, CSA understands that unexpected job loss is a fact of life, especially in today's economy. That is why this type of coverage is included in many of CSA's policies. We sympathize with anyone facing unemployment, but CSA explicitly explains up front benefit stipulations for each policy. The policy language in your plan clearly stated that 5 years of continued employment is the minimum time required for a claim to be paid. While we feel compassion for all our customers and the unexpected events that may cause a delay or cancellation of their trip, we simply can't pay every single claim with no restrictions. As a consumer, it is imperative that you read and understand your policy carefully before purchasing to prevent misunderstanding or confusion should a claim need to be filed.
