It would seem that you are a victim of your own ignorance.  From what you wrote it appears that you dropped out of Virginia College and withdrew after the refund date, or just stopped attending. In either case, you owe the money. When you owe a balance to a college they typically won't release your financial aid transcript, which would be needed by CTU to process your aid. So I'm a little curious as to how they managed to process the Stafford (not Standford) loans.

Your best bet would be to go to your local community college where you can receive the remedial courses you need. It's apparent from your writing that you would benefit from some basic English courses.  Students who are "at risk" are a prime target for these online schools because they are easy to deceive.

For students considering online schools, PLEASE make yourself smart on how financial aid really works. The Department of Education website has all the information you need.
