Customer's Choice Resurfacing bathtub nightmare, substandard work, poor resurfacing finish, ripoff Arvada Colorado
I contacted this company and paid them to resurface a bathtub for me. I expected a smooth surface upon completion.
The owner sprayed one section of the tub numerous times. That section is smooth. That is how I wanted the entire tub to be. The multiple spraying of one section caused an overspray on the rest of the surface. This caused the rest of the tub to feel like sandpaper.
The owner came back and wet sanded portions of the tub. He said that is all he can do.
I wanted him to respray the entire tub. He refuses. His wife calls it an orange peel surface and says it is perfect.
Upon contacting other bathtub resurfacing companies, they say that the surface should be smooth. The way I wanted it in the first place.
I asked for my money back and the owner's wife offered 10% back. That will not pay to have someone else come in and do the job right. For someone else to come in it will cost $100 to sand and strip, then the full cost to respray.
At this point, parts of the tub still feel like sand paper and other parts are rough. There is only one strip that is smooth.
I was ripped off by this company and would discourage you from using them!!!
