Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This has been the worst computer expereince of either my or my wife's lives, and we have owned a lot of computers.

We ordered a $2700.00 custom built gaming computer with all the accessories. When it arrived it arrived with no mouse or keyboard, and the speakers were in a box that had obviously been bouncing around on their shelves for a long time and didn't work. We tried them on three different computers. When we set the PC up, it immediately crashed whenever we tried to sign on to the internet.

We called their tech department and the guy had me uninstall everything and use the Windows disk, but that just put it into a crash-restart cycle. After a full day and 6 calls to their tech support, they gave us an RMA and we sent it back. They also exchanged the speakers and finally sent the keyboard and mouse.

When the computer came back two weeks later, it still didn't work. The network card would not detect our network and we got a recurring message that the GEForce Expereince drivers had encountered a problem and had to shut down. I called them again and the tech messed around for a while then told me to send it back . . .  again.

We had still not used this very expensive computer a single minute, and I had no intention of packing it up and sending it back with no assurance that it would be fixed when it came back the thrird time. I said that before I sent it back again, I would take a refund. The guy immeidately said I would have to pay to send the PC back if I got a refund, even though the whole problem was their fault. I admit I got frustrated and upset at this point and he said he was putting the refund in. I told him no, I didn't ask him to do that and the guy hung up on me. I have never in my life had a "customer service" rep hang up.

A few days later they emailed me the RMA for the refund. I called and explained I didn't want a refund and I didn't want to ever have anything to do with them again. We used a USB Network card to get the internet connection working and installed new drivers for the GEForce graphics. We had the Geek Squad go through the PC and get several problems resolved so we can use it.

CyberPowerPC's quality control is poor, and their customer sevice is worse. We do not want anything from CyberPowerPC, we just want other people to be informed before they have the same expereince we did.
