Complaint Review: Cynthia Wilson & Gavin White of Milky Way Productions - Charleston West Virginia

 To whom it may concern: I, Julia Norales from company First Dime Music Production and Manager for Mr. Fel Davis am writing this letter to inform people about Ms Cynthia Wilson from Milky Way Productions. The women is a con artist who does not pay. It all started for me when I received a call from a friend Sherri Hill who was working for Ms Wilson and informed me about this production she was helping Ms Wilson with called "Battered But Not Broken" and they wanted my artist Mr Fel Davis to play a lead role in the play. Mr Davis auditioned and they loved him. We signed contracts for Mr Davis to get paid $1000.00 per weekend for a 20 city tour. Mr Davis started rehearsing. I was involved in listening on calls to making sure that Mr Davis was ready.

They would rehearse Monday - Friday @ 11:30 pm till 1am sometimes longer. Ms Wilson would be on calls stating she loved that cast and they were her babies. I also had another actor Jahmani Swanson who signed contacts but they changed scene to play. We still moved forward with rehearsal and I drove with my artist Fel Davis to West Virginia on September 24th 2015 we still had not received deposit cause I was told by Ms Wilson that she was waiting for sponsorship to pay. She first mentions that West Virginia university was only going to pay a certain amount to get the show started but if they put on a good show they would pay $250.000 to continue the show for the tour. I was told that hotel was covered with a 2 bedroom suited and I did know that I was sharing room with ms Hill and was fine with that. I get there and it a room with 2 queen beds and I'm on the sofa.

I was a little upset but the show must go on. We get to the theatre to rehearse and Mr Wilson has no stage crew. I start helping out and doing way more then I was suppose to and start helping out cast but setting up stage and making sure wardrobe was done. The cast did an amazing job and at the end after the cast did 3 shows for the weekend Ms Wilson boyfriend Gavin white comes up to me and is like we don't have all the money so we are going to give you and your artist want we can and for us to meet back at hotel. We all get back to hotel and Ms Cynthia Wilson accuses me of trying to take over her production. I was shocked and figured this is her excuse for not wanting to pay me and my artist. Then her and Sherri Hill get into an argument. Mr Gavin White come in to the room and tells the cast that he only has $590.00 to split with the whole cast because that's all they had.

Ofcourse myself, my artist and the whole cast were very upset and Ms Sherri Hill did the best she could do to defend her cast that she worked so hArd for. Ms Hill helped Ms Wilson put this whole production together with Ms Wilson doing nothing. Ms Hill worked hard for 4 months and to not receive pay is very upsetting. Ms Wilson did not pay anybody and left the next morning taking the rental car she got for the cast to get there and left the cast stranded with no way of getting home back to Atlanta Georgia. We then call the professor of West Virginia University to informed him of what happened and that we need the sponsor money and he said he never said he was a sponsor. So we were conned. She is the devil how could a person be so cold and do this to a hard working people. And it turns out she's been doing this since 2012. She lied to us about everything. And to this day we have not gotten paid and now she has changed her number.
