Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I registered on hotjobs, monster, and careerbuilder, and the same job listings kept coming up, ENTRY-LEVEL MARKETING/SALES- PRO SPORTS TEAMS

I to have been a victim of these companies....you go to the initial interview than they say "we will call you if we would like you to come back for a second interview". Low and behold they call everyone with a decent appearance and is in need of work.

So you go to your second interview than are told you will be driveing around with someone all day in the field to get a feel for the job. You leave the office and can drive up to 2 hours away!!!! You than have to follow this person around who is telling you how great the job is and help them sell stuff ALL DAY!! Which you do not get paid for since it is part of the interview process!!

At lunch they will go over how quick you can pick this up and that you will be earning 600 bucks a week in no time!! they tell you that in a year or so you will be owning your own company makeing a minimum of 6 figs a year. and of course they have been there for 3 months and are only 2 months away from owning their own company!!

What they don't tell you is that come tax time you are an independant contractor and will prob owe a substancial amount since you do not pay into the irs when the company pays you. This is how they get out of any liability...since you technically work for yourself you are VERY limited on any liabilities you may have against them!!

You than are brought back to the office usually between 6 and 7 at night and told to wait a few minutes that they will go up to bat for you with the big chief and keep your fingers crossed cause not everyone gets hired. After waiting they call you back into the office and and roughly 99% do get hired...surprise surprise. Your hours will then be 7:30-7:30ish and Saturdays too...because if you are going to make it big and get in good with the boss you need to come in on Saturdays!!

THIS HOLE SCHEME IS A CROCK!! They tell you to lie to the customers and all you do is go door to door everyday never see your family and they pressure you into going on road trips.....coferences, etc...at your expense of course since you work for yourself!! the big bosses are making a KILLING off you just by getting you in the car on your "Day of O"

Independant contractors do NOT HAVE to report daily at a certain time!! They tell you well we take all that into consideration when promoteing from within.

I personally went on a day of "o" with Marketing Sessions and DC advetising. I took the job with DC but found out come pay day Innovative Marketing was paying me. I also have kids and a family which most of the losers who actually stay with these swindlers don't. So they tell you ohh well the sacrafice is worth it in the long run!! But if your kids get sick or something happens they play a guilt trip on you!!

Do Not respond to any job offers from these companies!!

Signature says fashion and apparrell....yet you sell cosmetics door to door every day!! All companies are commision only!!!

More than likely you will be waisting your time!!!! on any interview with all companies listed!!

MAKE SURE TO ASK IF YOU ARE UNSURE IF THEY ARE OR EVER HAVE BEEN AFFILIATED WITH ANY OF THESE "MOTHER COMPANIES"!!! If they say yes RUNNN

JUICE TO YOU!!!

A few years ago I had an interview with DC Advertising. I was fresh out of college and was looking to get out of retail, and it seemed like a good oppertunity. Well I made it through the first interview, and was called back to do the Day of O. Well, the manager I was going to be shadowing basically told me to get lost when I didn't show him a resume. His excuse was that he didn't know me and that I had no experience in the field (Funny because their job posting said "No experience, no problem!). Needless to say I was crushed...so that night I left a very nasty message on their voicemail targeting this manager who humiliated me. After reading the comments about this company on here, I feel stupid for getting worked up about it now that I know it's a big scam.
