DAAB HUDSON - Essex Mannor Apartments, Exclusive Managment ripoff!! Bounced a apartment refund check caused all kinds of bank fees and will not pay for it to make it good! Spring Valley New York
This company refunded an apartment rental refund to us. They bounced the check because they used wrong numbers when they printed the checks numbers "routing etc" on the bottom. The check bounced due to this fact. The only person we have contact with is the Maint. person. He stated " they will NOT call you because they have to releace their number and it will show up on caller ID". In other words they dont want to talk to me. They wrote a letter to us saying that it was the banks and our fault. The facts are what "they" said the bank was saying is NOT what our bank has told us face to face on the matter. This company has made it very clear to the CPB, to wich I filed three reports, that they gave us 50.00 for the fee in regards to bouncing their check.
This to me is an abvious admission of fault. They did give us the 50.00 for the fee, plus made good on the original check of 806.40, but the over three hundred in bank fees and not to mention the fees from all the other bills not getting paid that month are well over 3000.00.
They NEED to make this right. I will not rest untill they have paid every dime owed. Its obvious that the CPB will do NOTHING about it and writing to Elliot Spitzer's office was a big waste of time as the report came back that the "company" said it was "settled" and that was the end of it. Well no one asked me if it was over or settled. This is why the rich get richer and the rest of us get stepped on.
They paid the original amount, and the bounced check fee for their check ONLY now they NEED TO PAY the rest of the fees THEY CAUSED!!!!
