We recently bought a Microwave from Home Depot. It is made by your DAEWOO Electronics Corporation of America. We very recently installed this Microwave (less than 60 days ago). After it was installed we notice that there were parts missing (2 Metal Grease Filters and Roller Guide). The model of the Microwave is an E-WAVE Model# KOT-152UB. We e-mailed and called the company to let them know that there were items missing. No one has responded to our e-mails, so we decided to call them. The customer service center told us tough luck and refused to send us these missing parts to us.

The owners manual advertises a one year warranty on parts, one year on labor, eight years on the Magnetron. The owners manual states that the Daewoo Electronics Corporation of America warrants each new microwave oven manufactured by it to be free from defective material and workmanship and agrees to remedy any such defect or furnish a new part. Since this microwave does not have the proper parts included it makes the microwave useless. I believe that this microwave is defective because it can not be used for its intended purpose. We would have like a remedy for this situation but they refused to take care of the problem. We are writing the complaint so other unknowning buyers shopping for there products know that their warranty policies are before they shop. Please do not patornize this company or you may become a victim to.
