We then proceeded to discuss terms.

I'd have much rather gone to get the guitar instead of going to talk to a lawyer to see what kind of trouble I can get you in. Oh well. The latter is a shorter distance and the commute is free.

Mr. Mein's actions constitute misrepresentation and a clear-cut "scheme or artifice to deprive another of the intangible right of honest services" as outlined in 18 U.S.C. § 1346.
