Darren Adams of R and D Home Services in Phoenix Arizona ripped us off. He is on ServiceMagic and they refer him for all sorts of work. He is dishonest, disrespectful and unreliable.
Do not hire this guy. He is full of excuses. He will tell you what great work he does , make up reasons why he cant have his crew on the site, and eventually take your money and not perform the work.
In our case he responded to a request for handyman services and home painting. He bid the job with terms requiring payment for "materials" up front. Put together a material list for $2,000. We paid him $2,000 but he never purchased the materials. Instead, he sent a lazy fellow over to do about 15 hours of "work" and then called and wanted more money and said he "wanted me to meet him halfway." When questioned about additional expense, said he wanted to "do the job right." Did he bid the job to do it wrong?
Darren Adams repeatedly lied about coming to the job site. "I will be there tomorrow with my full crew" or "I will be back later today." Never did anything he promised. A complete scammer. Should have known better so I am writing to warn you. This guy in my opinion and experinece is nothing more than a common thief. Do not hire this guy. You will be sorry.
Dont make the same mistake I made. He will promise the world and deliver NOTHING.
