Dat Records Aka 1200s Aka Dat Music Thieves frauds liars ripoff scam cheaters bogus Westbury New York
In 2002 I had placed a $1,500.00 order for a turntable and mixer package deal. I was naive and foolish. I sent them a check (I know...really stupid of me)and they cashed it, but never sent me the merchandise.
I called and was told that the mixer was out of stock and would have to wait for it. Then I e-mailed and was told that the carrier had lost the package and that they would have to wait for the claim to clear and then would re-ship the order. I was given the run around for at least a month.
Finally, I managed to get in contact with the supposed President of the company and I was told that the shipment would go out next day air and he offered me a gift certificate to use toward future purchases. Well, after that, I was never able to get in contact with anyone else.
I called and called and e-mailed to no avail. I retained the e-mails that they sent me with their lies and also have a copy of the check the cashed, but to this day I have not been compensated. Their website is a total Fraud and Rip-Off!
Please do not buy from them. Save yourself from unnecessary grief and heartache.
