Is David Fowler a Real Estate Fraud, Real Estate Scam Artist? You decide. Here are the facts. The story goes as follows.

1- House for sale listed by David Fowler with a sign in the yard with his contact information.

2- Contacted him by phone to find out more about the property.

3- Refused to deal with unless I had already prequalified for a loan to purchase a house. Wouldn't even schedule an appointment to view the property. Insisted that I contact some local realtor in the immediate area to get access and more information.

4- I gained access to the property through another realtor and found the property to be a fixer up but very profitable if fixed up correctly.

5- I contacted a realtor, set up an appointment, placed down a high dollar earnest money deposit, and presented proof of funds statements since I planned to purchase the property for cash.

6- I was told it was a bank own property that had 2 other offers that had been rejected.

7- The realtor submitted my offer through the ResNet system that evening. 

8- The next morning the realtor informed that the Bank had counter offered.

9- I accepted the counter offer and the realtor immediately forward the counter offer's acceptance back through the ResNet system. The realtor said they would have to download some addendums and have me come in and sign.

10- A little over 2 hours after the acceptance the listing agent David Fowler forward an email stating that there were 3 buyers seeking to purchase the property and the owner was asking each buyer to submit their best and final offer. ( the other 2 buyers with offers were there when I made my offer but their offers had been rejected).

11- Asked the realtor what was going on since I had accepted the counteroffer. They said it's shady and they have no explanation. 

12- I was told to make another offer by the realtor. I offered even more than what their counteroffer was which I accepted.

13- After days of no response as to the outcome I asked the realtor to check into it. They did and said David Fowler had awarded the contract to purchase the house to someone else.

14- Did David Fowler bring in a partner / and or client to steal the deal as suggested by the realtor submitting the offers for me?
