There is no ripoff. You bought a car from a "trusted" dealership and didn't read the contract before you signed it. You paid an exorbitant interest rate and signed for extended warranties and insurance that you didn't need. I'll bet the monthly payment was just fine though. Dealers love payment customers. A friend who is a car salesman in New Orleans tells the buyer honestly that he can have "anything on the lot" for his $400 monthly payment. The dealer will just adjust the length of payment or the interest and he will pay exactly $400 for 36 months or 48 or 60 or???? Next time quit depending on the dealership to honor an old customer. Their policy is "you bought a car yesterday. What did you do for them today?" Some dealerships are fine. I go to one where it takes 5 minutes to buy a car. I just order it, arrange financing myself, and pick up the car when it comes in and give them a check. The delivery takes 10 minutes. Next time read the contract if you are financing a car and next time see your credit union for financing - not the dealer.

People think that because they've bought a couple of vehicles from a car dealer, they've become "good friends". BIG MISTAKE. Car dealers just use this preceived notion as a ruse, to screw you over even worse. "After being a customer of this company for more than 15 years, buying 3 cars from them.....". You'd expect them to treat him better. NOT. Typical car dealer. They saw a chance to screw a customer and took it cause he let his guard down cause he THOUGHT they'd treat him better AFTER 15 years. Sad.
