Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Back in April of 2005, I sent an email to Davison Inventigration explaining that I wanted to see if my idea was any good. A few weeks later I received the package of information that had all the paper work in it for me to fill out. So, I did it! I was nervous because I didn't think my idea was all the great or be really anything. I filled out the papers and sent them back. In about another couple of weeks I got a phone call from Sean Jones, Senior Director of New Ideas/Inventions. Anyways, he told me that him and his company thought my idea was great and wanted to persue it. So I was sent the thick information package that had all the stuff I was supposed to read over and sign. STUPID!!! I did! After talking about once a month to tell me what was happening next, I finally got the call that he was sending me the package that contained all the "proper" forms for me to review and sign so that they could get started on "developing the prototype". Oh yeah, and $12,462.00 and we get 10% of the royalites". For the past 3 weeks, I have been trying to find a way to get the money. I have even been trying to get a 3rd mortgage on our home!

Today is August 28th, 2005 and I came to my mother's this morning to pick up my niece and nephew to go to church with my children and me. She had been up ALL NIGHT reading all the complaints about Davison. Needless to say, I am writing this complaint and not at church. I am soooooo angry and hurt because I really wanted to believe that I had something real and was (not going to be filthy rich), going to be financially set enough to get us out of debt. I am extremely glad that my mother found this site. When she was showing it to me, I could not believe it. And the fact that Sean Jones' name had been mentioned personally! I feel so violated (in my trust). I just can't believe I feel for all of it. BUT thankfully I had not been able to get the money as of yet, so they don't have more than the first "retainer fee" of $685.00 from me. I thank the LORD for my mother, because had she not seen/found this site, I would have been mortgaging my house a 3rd time, and been SCREWED! Thanks MOM.

I am so glad I have read all the reports about Davison. Especially this one that has the rebuttal of an ex-employee of the company. I just recently sent in my "Confidential Agreement" form for them to evaluate my invention. I have been scammed so much in the past, something told me to check them out further. It is a shame to see that people are constantly developing ways to pray on those that are trying to make it in this world. I hope this company gets that pants sued off of them. Thank God for Rip-Off Report.com.

Glad to see you found the site.. This company makes their money by generating excitement amongst its prospects and hoping that excitement hinders them from seeing the truth.

Angie, You did the right thing. Since finding this website I cannot believe the amount of complaints that are levied against my former employer. While I cannot make the assumption all are valid, most of the complaints accurately portray how this company operates. This company makes their money by generating excitement amongst its prospects and hoping that excitement hinders them from seeing the truth. Fortunately you were able to find out just how many people felt they were duped by this company. Unfortunately, many uninformed individuals have seen their life savings zapped by the company. Essentially the more you deceive at this company, the more you are likely to be promoted and have something fancy to park in the lot at work. When I first started I assumed it would be a place I could make a nice living from seeing all the BMW's, Audi's, and Jaguars in the parking lot. How silly I felt when I learned that people's hard earned money made it possible for these "Directors of New Products" to drive something nice to work when they were making their clients go broke. Everything you heard your contact at Davison say comes from a script. There is a reply waiting in the wings for every concern you can throw at them. If you mention the BBC/FTC issue to them, they will have started their reply before you even finish your question. Directors are trained to always have an answer ready, to be able to shoot down any concerns, to put the fear in a person that someone else is waiting to claim this idea as their own. It's sad really. It's a numbers game with making a lot of money at others expense the primary objective. I could go on and on all afternoon, but I won't. I'm glad to see that you were able to cut your ties before you got in over your head. Be forewarned though, you will probably receive many phone calls from Davison, as they do not like to let potential "back end deals" (where they make a lot of money) slip away. I would just make them aware you no longer wish to do business with them and ask them to cease all communications.
