After several attempts to reach Mr. Marcus J. Lamb, the owner of the approximate 100 Television and radio stations in the USA and the ONLY permanent religious station in Jerusalem, Israel I finally was told that "Mr. Lamb does not speak to members of the public that he is much too important to respond to his viewers \or those that send in donations" (a direct quote).

I then sent two letters addressed to his wife and him Marcus J. and Joni Lamb in Dallas, Texas, USA. Although they would not respond they had some other person respond and state that Daystar,  the recipient  in excess of 37 million dollars  in pledges for 2011, could not afford to have someone on their Television programs that desires to read out of the bible and to attempt to intrepret those scriptures based on thorough research into the Jewish and Greek history etc. regarding all the passages being read in a particular segment.

That Daystar, MarcusJ. Lamb and Joni Lamb, felt they did not believe the reading of the bible was a worthwhile program they wished to support.

That Daystar preferred to sponsor loud rock bands, a racing car, and other programs that requested the continual begging of funds to 'support' these various scams, ministries,  and alleged "religious" preachers.

That the reading of the bible, word for word,  was not worthwhile to support and to have someone read the bible to the listening / watching public was not conducive to Daystars goals and policies.

Personally I find it very disheartening that a religious TV station that states a profound belief in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit would not want a person to read directly out of the bible.

Further this Marcus J. Lamb has, he states, been told not to preach for at least one year because of his improprieties. Whatever that means.

A Complaint is not necessarily a 'rip-off'

However in a way it could be considered a "ripoff' in that Daystar claims to be a religious TV station and since they care not to have anyone read directly from the bible then it seems, to me, that the lack of interest in what is actually stated in the bible(s), especially the Greek history and the jewish history,(visualize these two areas of 'original documents') are where the current intrepertations of the many bibes usually are used to create biblical renditions.

Further, I suppose this need to nit-pick words is moot. So if it would make you more 'comfortable' use your own choice of words.

Might it be suggested that the use of "complaint", "notification of negative biblical policy", "lack of interest in biblical documentation", "desire by Daystar owner(s) to not have the bible read over their station(s)". There may be many other words you might be more comfortable with;  these are just a few suggested formats for you to consider rather than the word "rip-off'.

Where is the ripoff?

I am rather curious as to where the ripoff is. It sounds to me like your complaint is based on the fact that the owner of a large media conglomerate will not give you your own television show. Is that correct?

Also, the owner of a company like that is; quite frankly, too important and busy to speak to a general member of the public. More especially, a member of the public who is demanding their own television show that consists of some guy sitting there reading out of a book. Not exactly riveting television.
