DealExtreme Con Artists, do not want to refund for a defective laser of $62, it has been almost a year Hung Hom, Kowloon
I ordered several hundred dollars from DealExtreme. Most of the items were in substandard condition. in particular a laser that I purchased for 64 dollars was nothing like the item that was advertised on their website. I returned the item twice due to defects and it has been almost a year since I have been trying to get them to give me a refund just for the item and not the shipping charges. They always have a reason: Lunar Year, sick,new person handling my order, not the right item number, not correct purchase order the list goes on and on... Needless to say that those in charge of DealExtreme are extremely incompetent and doing a huge disfavor to their company's future.
I for one am done with DX, no matter what the item is or how badly I want it, I am not ever ever ever buying from them again. I suggest the same for anyone that has an interest in buying from DX. it is not worth the wait for receiving it and then finding out that the items that you ordered are defective and taking a year to potentially having your money just ripped-off. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if their products are contaminated in one way or another as well as defective.
