A fairytale gone dirty...

I did a research on different tablets, as I am going to need one during the summer, when I go on my 5000 miles trip through Europe by bike. I needed a tablet which I can blog from, edit my facebook page. For that the Flytouch 10 was perfect, because it was cheap, it had a great battery capacity, it was said that it has GPS as well. (which it does not)

I ordered it from dealsprime.com and it arrived very fast, within a week. I was very satisfied and glad, so I placed another order. And then things started to turn out bad. I was so happy, that I order even more things.

I placed the second order, the status on my account at dealsprime turned to "complete" just like in the case of the previous order. The only difference was that the package was not registered to singpost.com. Now a week after placing the order, the item is still not found at singpost.com, which means that they never got it. I really do not know what to do now, because who is to blame? Dealsprime says they forwarded it to singpost, singpost says they never received it. Probably I'll turn to paypal, trying to get the money back. But here the amount is much smaller, than in the next case.

After waiting 1 week for registering my second order on singpost.com, the item I ordered first broke suddenly. The on-off button got stuck, it is impossible to turn the device on or off anymore. The device broke. This can happen (even if with cheap gadgets more often), but in a normal case there is some kind of guarantee. In this case there is no guarantee, no return policy, nothing. So if you buy something, and it stops working, you can say goodbye to your money. Goodbye money. In this case I admit that it was my fault, because I have not looked at the guarantee and return policy before I bought the item, and I was also naive to think that it cannot break down.

Well here I am now, having nothing in my hand, and paid 270$. Be careful with cheap stuff, because even if you think it is cheap, it might get very expensive, if it turns out that you paid that cheap price for nothing.

I made a mistake in the previous section, there is a year of warranty, I only have to pay the shipping costs, and 30$ if I send it back later than 45 days.

I have sent back the device now, let's see what happens. The customer service was helpful during the process and they gave me the address where I have to send it back, so that they can fix it.
