Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This company took money out of my account without notifying me and managed to put me into overdraft as well. I only had $34 available yet this company called Debitsuccess withdrew the amount of $104.66 and put me into overdraft of around $70 - so I was charged an 'account out of order' fee by my bank. I had been regurlary paying $11.31 each week and thought everything was fine - they were taking the money out and I thought I was up to date with payments. Then all of a sudden they withdrew the $104 on a Friday so I was left with nothing to live on for the whole weekend - I was also unable to ring them as they didn't open until the following Monday. When I did try to ring them their lines were constantly busy (must be everyone else trying to sort out the mess they're always in) and I had to wait more than half an hour to be answered.

I pay this company for gym fees and they automatically generate letters to their 'customers' if we happen to be a few hours late in making payments. When we receive their emails it is exactly the same letter they send to everyone except it has each individual name and member number. However, the 'due date for payment' is always BEFORE the letter dated on the email! For example, they will tell you the last date for payment is 3rd January 2014 and yet the email was sent on 30th Jan 2014. They sent a similar letter to another member of my family dated 20th December 2013 yet the email said the last date for payment was 18th December 2013!!!

Apparently they have a 150 seat contact centre (or more by now) yet their phones are constantly busy and the only way to reach them at all is via email - yet they take ages to respond to that as well. They are run in Australia and New Zealand and generally make the gyms they sign up with (and probably charge as well) contracts to give to their (the gyms) clients. I have warned my friends and family and everyone I know to NEVER sign a contract with this company as they will relentlessly harrass them to continually pay them even if that person is unable to.
