I want to thank rip-off report for saving me from giving Deborah Griest $2000. I have been searching for a car for a couple of weeks now and found one for sale on an unnamed website for which seemed like too good of a deal. It turned out I was right.

Deborah Griest goes from website to website trying to put an ad to sell a vehicle that is way too low priced for the car that she is supposedly selling. She never puts her number in the e-mail and the only way to get into contact with her is through an e-mail. She then uses a company called Moneybookers ltd. to take your money.

One day as i was searching through a local website for vehicles i found a 2000 Volkswagon Jetta with less than 90k miles on it for only $1980.00. The Kelley Blue Book on this car said it was worth over $7000. Interested in finding out what it said i e-mailed her to find out more details. The next morning I received an e-mail back from her saying that the reason that she was selling the car for so cheap is because she had moved to Scotland and that it would cost too much money to spec the car to the standards of Scotland.

A The very next day i received an e-mail from Moneybookers giving me the information on where I was to send the money to a Rod James Ford and that he would give the money to Deborah and i would receive the car within a few days.

I sent the money to Rod through Moneygram against them telling me that it was probably a scam. After sending the money i went home and looked at my e-mail and found 2 more e-mails from Deborah for 2 different vehicles other than the Jetta giving me the same story just with different vehicles and different prices. Another 2000 Jetta and a 1999 BMW 323i. Both for very cheap.

I then immediately called moneygram and cancelled my money transfer suspicious over the coincidence of the e-mails. I then started to research the situation and googled Deborah Griest. I then came across a story here on this website of another man who had been ripped off by this deborah and put me at great ease to think that I did cancel the transaction before she was able to take my money as she has done in the past with other people.

I hope that this e-mail helps many other people from her taking money from them also. Once again thank you Rip-off report
