Please be very careful getting puppies from her. She is not a broker for the amish. These are her puppies. I do beleive she is running a puppy mill. The first puppy I bought from her died from coccidia. (Please read first posting I have) The puppy I got from her as a "replacement" also came with coccidia, but has survived, but not without putting our expenses and vet bill over $2,000. We have finally overcome the coccidia, but it will be an ongoing thing to have her tested so we can keep her healthy. These two puppies were from separate litters, on two separate birth dates. I do believe that all the puppies are infected with coccidia. It can be deadly if not caught in time, but if caught early enough, it is very easy to treat. She just never even took the time to test them, or the mom dogs (who they initially contracted it from). I want to see these puppies get good loving homes. If you have the extra funds to treat the pup, negotiate the price. Buy the pup expecting illness. Maybe even negotiate a contract of your own so you are covered as her contract is double talk and you are not covered under anything. Have a vet appointment set up for that day and let the vet know what the circumstances are. Have the vet document EVERYTHING!!!! If the puppy is dirty, if it seems very timid, etc... You would be surprised how it will help you later if something happens. I wish I would have done all that now for Taytor Bug. Luckily she was so little you just fell in love with her instantly and she stuck in your heart. The pup she gave me as a replacement, has taken a lot of money and a lot of work. She didn't know what grass was, she wouldn't budge on a leash, wouldn't go through doorways. Now, she is a little big baby. Took a lot of patience, love and work but, she is a wonderful little girl. No animal deserves to be treated how they are with delightfulpups. They populate the dogs and that's all they do. They don't take care of the breeding dogs and make sure they are healthy. I hope this helps, I will try to keep this updated. Like I said, I want the innocent pups to have loving, caring homes, but be aware they are more than likely sick. Coccidia being one of the illnesses. Thank you.

I wanted to make sure that all catch words are entered. Rio Wisconsin is another city that has been mentioned with their "business" so I wanted to be sure that it is here to catch any searchers. Please be aware that they have their website "under construction" but am wondering if they are changing their name and going under a new alias. I will be updating when I find anything out. I will not allow anyone to adopt a sick puppy without prior knowledge. I would love to see those pups get a loving home, and the only way is if you buy them. Just know that when you do buy them, that there is an extremely high (99%) chance that they are sick, either with coccidia or something else. Negotiate the price. I have spent over $2,000 combined on the pup the died and the pup that we have now, and GOOD NEWS.... we finally kicked the coccidia!!!! But it will be an ongoing process of screening for her through her life. Please check back here for updates! my e mail is: taytorbugspetboutiqueatyahoodotcom Sorry, I couldn't put the signs in or it wouldn't allow my e-mail. I hope this works

I want to thank you for that report. We almost bought a female pomeranian named emma from delightfulpups. My dad and I wanted to go up to the place she was breeding them to pick her up but she said she would meet us halfway. My dad was very persistent and made her give us her address. fortnantly my mom had a bad feeling and said "no" but unfortnantly later said yes. We were going to have emma on friday and picked up at a oasis, me being the skeptical I kept wondering why she wanted to meet us only half way, kept calling my house for a week straight, and why she (emma) looked so depressed in her picture. Most pomeranians seem happy in their pictures or at ease considering they are cared for. She looked like a old tortured old stuck in a 14 week old body. Suggestion goes out for anyone looking for animal and looks into breeders.1st Type in their name ( the breeder) and the state they are from you might find out what I was suspious of. 2nd actually look at the dog if they look unhappy or look extremely uncomfortable and unwell cared for, chances are they're not. I plan to contact PETA and anyone who will be able to shut her down. Leatrice is right in every sense and no one or animal should be subjected to that kind of treatment.

Leatrice, so sad you and probably many others are paying in heartbreak and with your pocketbooks over poorly cared for puppymill puppies. On the delightfulpups website they claim to broker for the Amish but no legitimate broker would rip a sick weak puppy away at less than 8 weeks of age and sell it weighing only a pound. My guess if that they raise these poor babies themselves. When you do a WHOIS search on the website, the registrant name is just left with blanks. (----) like they're in hiding or too embarrassed to say who owns the website. They really probably don't want a humane society or county sheriff to come knocking at their door. They advertise on Puppyfind and also Nextdaypets. When they get a bad review on Puppyfind, they simply just delete it and wipe the slate clean. I remember one review that said, "Don't you realize that having your dogs look like they live on the street is not attractive?' I remember seeing cockapoos and others with inch long eye boogers hanging and also noses with discharge...like they were just yanked out of the cage and --snap--the picture was taken. No bath, no brushing, nothing. Just matted gunky hair. It's not surprising in person they had poop caked on them. That's not very good---how to make a good first impression: Give customers a dog with poop crusted on them and charge them $650. DUH!!! Are they too lazy to even work for SOME of the money these poor dogs make for them? Can't they treat these puppies for coccidia themselves instead of giving a customer a dog that will possibly die if not treated? It would likely weaken the immune system and make it vulnerable to attack from disease. I wonder if they ship these dogs in this condition--without a bath, poop and eye boogers crusted on after the customer pays an additional $250 to receive a pet carrier and furry thin mop of poop and discharge at the airport. They do not need to be in business if they don't care about the puppies they sell...they can blame the Amish all they want (yeah, a likely excuse...) but I hold them responsible for selling the dogs in that condition. They are supposedly based out of Rio, Wisconsin off of HWY 16. Does anyone know anything about this? The local sheriff needs to investigate. Oh, I checked out their health guarantee and it is a joke. Leatrice, I am sorry you did not get a refund but at least you took one of those poor puppies and gave it a good life. And with the one that died--at least she was loved in her final days. You tried more than this bunch ever would have thought to. AT least SOMEONE TRIED TO SAVE HER!
