I bought a Delonghi Coffee on Amazon.ca around December 2013 and after less than 4 very light uses it just stopped working. I contacted Delonghi via email with a view to getting another grinder since it was within the one year warranty and was told to cut and mail the cord of the grinder to them. They said they would send out another grinder 2 weeks after they had received the said cord. I sent the said cord by registered mail, (which cost me over $11) just to ensure that it got to them.However, 2 weeks after the cord was received by Delonghi the promised grinder was yet to arrive.

So, I wrote Delonghi again and at first they tried to pretend as if this was the first time I was making the complaint and even went on about getting and replacing the broken part, but I was able to get them to stop the pretext. Anyway, they now told me that it was going to take between 4-6 weeks for the coffee grinder to arrive. That was in May 22; almost 3 months later the promised replacement is yet to arrive and I'm 110% sure it is never going to because the email I sent to them 6 weeks after May 22 to enquire once again about the promised replacement  was completely ignored. So, at the end of the day I am not only out of pocket for buying their junk but also for obeying the their deceitful intructions to mail the cord of the junk I bought from them.Save yourself this kind of dishonest and despicable conduct and stay away from Delonghi junk electronics......
