Denie Amato, FLORIN ION GOGONCEA Laptop scam asks eBay buyers to send money via Western Union screwed others too evil dirt bags rip-off scam liars Madrid Spain
I recently bid for a Sony Vaio laptop on eBay, and was contacted by another eBay user ladybess39 offering to sell me the exact same model laptop if I sent him the money through Western Union, to be collected by a "friend" of his in Madrid Spain.
I tried to explain to him that I need a safe method of payment and he started giving me all this "I'm an honorable man...please trust me". I realized it was a ripoff when I asked him if he could sell me 5 laptops and if he could give me a volume discount. He offered to sell me 5 laptops for $470 each, this for a laptop that normally retails for $1650.
He even said that he works for Sony.
The accomplice he is using in Madrid Spain is:
FLORIN ION GOGONCEA
CALLE VIA 32 B,5 APT.
MADRID, SPAIN
Don't send this guy money through Western Union since there are no guarantees and no way to get a refund. You will get ripped off guaranteed. There is no way anybody can sell a $1600 laptop for $470 or even $700 (his original price).
Check the communication I've had with this crook and see his mode of operation.

I checked into escrow services and there is a company that will hold my payment to you until I have checked the merchandise and am happy with its operation.
Their web site is www.escrow.com. It costs me $42 for the service, which I will pay.

I have never sent money through Western Union and I have no idea how protected I am in the transaction. Can you explain what system is in place that can guarantee that I won't loose my money. I usually pay using a credit card through Paypal. Is that an option?
