Derek Bollwinkel, Apex Enterprise APEX ENTERPRISE / ARIZONA MIPS We Were Desperate and he ripped us off promising free rent and $500 for every contract brought to him Mesa, Arizona
I answered an add that led me to Derek Bollwinkel/Walker that stated free rent. My wife and I went to his home on 6-22-2010 in Mesa and met with him. He told us he is a realestate investor and what he offers people is the opportunity to have free rent. He said we pay him $250 now and he gives us a recent copy of pre forclosed homes or short sales. Our job was to go around, look at the homes to find the empty ones then find the owner. We had 2 forms for them to fill out and we take them to him. At that piont we pay him another $250 and he gives us the keys to the home and we stay in it until the home closes escrow which could be 6-18 months. If we wanted we could stay with his program as long as we wanted. We fell for it. My family was desperate as we had just moved here and have no home to go to and not enough to pay the deposites. We have a son who is ADHD, Asbergers and Bipolar. I have Muscular Distrophy and am on a fixed income so we thought this would be great. We covered so many places off his list, walked the neighbor hood asking neighbors if they knew the owners of the homes all in the hot sun, spent hours searching the internet for the owners with no success. I lost many hours of sleep and got little rest trying to find a home for my family not knowing that this man has a program that wont work. I finally found someone who called me back and wanted to sell there home to him. I called Bollwinkle several times for over a week with no answer so I went on line to find his address so I can go to his house and there he was on the fraud alert. I spent so much money on gas, $250 on the house list, many sleepless nights worrying about my family, becomming so weak with my disease that I couldnt go many days, stressing with my wife and kids all for a scam that was not ever going to work. I hope this guy and his wife are cought and they get what is comming to them.
