Dermaskin False advertising plus trial basis scam Internet
Ad promised almost instant results within a day or two. Ordered the wrinkle cream but it was set up so you almost automatically order other products. I ended up with the cream plus an eye serum I did not want but managed to avoid the other products. Paid shipping on both items.
Was allergic to the eye serum so did not even use it. Used the skin cream several times a day for a few days but no results. Called the company and they talked about how different skin types react differently and it may take more time to see a result, which was different from the original ad.
The slip that came with the products, in fine print at the bottom said if you want to return the product, you need to get an authorization number from them. I asked for that number and then discovered that, unlike most trials, I had to PAY the return shipping myself. This "trial basis" cost me not only over 10 dollars for original shipping, but another $5.95 to return the products.
Beware when you agree to trials that they will not require a return of the product at YOUR expense. Also please note that you have a VERY SHORT time limit to try whatever you are sent, and it does not usually take into account the time it takes for you to receive it in the mail.
