Complaint Review: DESERT ESTATE LIQUIDATORS LLC - Avondale Arizona

 Actually Missy, inspite of what you did to me and your former co workers, I did not post this information about you.  You have never been harrassed by me, I have left you alone with only occasional contact requesting YOU to remove lies that you have posted online about me.  I gave you a job and a place to live and considered you a friend.  You Burned me! As you are more than aware, there is plenty of proof against you and the police dept has all of it.  It was my choice not to press charges for now.  I would prefer a big thank you rather than all of the nonsense I have had to put up with from you.  Now I have to contend with other companies, Hello Desert Finds!!, posting lies with the BBB and ripoff report and trying to start a war between you and me. 

Ripoff Report thrives on this type of nonsense.  They do not fact check and as a matter of fact, they contact you when a post occurs on their site and offers you a chance to "mediate" but you have to pay them several thousand dollars. And they still will not remove the lies posted.

The BBB of Az is an agency that has Zero authority to be reporting or judging anyone.  They have a reputation that is worse than any F business.  When I was willing to pay them 400 per year to be a member, they were my best friend.  But when I decided that I did not want to be a member any longer, Boom!  they start posting complete nonsense too.  They have been told many times that some of the complaints are not even past customers/clients, and requests have been made to show proof/contracts from these individuals, but I get nothing from them. They delete out information from communications before posting it online and the BBB Council refuses to assist.  Do Note:  The BBB is not a government agency like many people believe.  They are a privately owned "franchise" type business.  In addition, their ratings system only includes their opinion and negatives. They do not count any positive reviews in their rating figures. So a business may have 50 positive reviews and 1 negative, and only the negative is counted. They also kick out many positive reviews but rarely do they dismiss a negative one.

I am getting Very Tired of Dealing with both you Missy and with Mary and Dave.  I am not playing any of your games any longer. 

Mary and Dave:  Stop posting negative info about me and my family and blaming it on Missy!!  and Stop posting negative info about Missy and blaming it on me.  I am more than aware of the lies you posted even though you blamed Missy. I do not know who posted against you, NOT ME! I want this all to stop.

I have changed my business name several times (although I had those business names for a long period of time) not to run from customers but to get away from YOU GUYS!!!!! 

When I started Arizona Estate Liquidators, I did not have to bring down other Established Estate Sale Companies in order to get business.  We all worked together, referring business back and forth.  I miss those days. Now its just new companies trying to scratch and hit their way to success, taking down anyone in their path.

Ripoff Report strongly believes in the First Amendment, even when it is about us.  We understand that people who have complaints written about them are upset and want to place blame somewhere, especially if they feel the content of the Reports are false.  We also understand that individuals want to blame our website rather than where it belongs – on the person who wrote the Reports in the first place.  Using the same method that we provide free of charge to all of our users, we would like to “set the record straight” as to the comments posted about our website through this Rebuttal.  

Every user of our website has the opportunity to tell their side of the story, for free, just as we will do here.  We certainly encourage users to “set the record straight” and tell their side of the story by using the free methods available to them before they consider other paid Ripoff Report programs (such as our VIP Arbitration Program or the Corporate Advocacy Program) or alterative avenues (such as filing a lawsuit against the Author of the report) that cost money.  After all, all we know is that users of our site affirm, before posting a Report, that the information is truthful and accurate and the user acknowledges that the information will become a permanent record.  This is why we allow Reports, Comments, Rebuttals and Updates, for free, by anyone (including the person/company posted about) who has information to share about the situation.  This includes the ability to upload documents that support the position that is being advanced.  By doing so, all sides of the story are able to be heard so other users of the site can make an educated decision about the situation for themselves. We encourage people to stick to the facts and write calmly worded accounts of the situation.  

It is clear that the author of the above Rebuttal is upset about the content that the original Report Author wrote about them and seemingly wants to blame Ripoff Report for providing a forum where people can come and openly comment about their experiences.  Again, we encourage people to stick to the facts and write calmly worded accounts of the situation.  Further, it’s absurd to propose that Ripoff Report, which is an open and interactive website, should not be available for people to make comments without fact checking every single statement of fact posted.  With that kind of rationale, one could kiss the internet goodbye.  Do you think that Facebook or Twitter or any other mainstream interactive websites, including news blogs, would exist if you told the users that no one could post any comments about anyone, or anything without first fact checking everyone’s comments?  Of course not!  To require such action would be to stifle the freedom of speech and the free exchange of information and ideas.  Ripoff Report is “for consumers, by consumers” and, in fact, our Terms of Servicesay, at paragraph 3, “Opinions, advice, statements, offers or other information or content made available through ROR are those of their respective authors and not of [Ripoff Report] and should not necessarily be relied upon.  Such authors are solely responsible for the accuracy of such content.  [Ripoff Report] does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on ROR and neither adopts nor endorses nor is responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice or statement made.”  Ripoff Report does not hold out that any information posted by users of the website is accurate or necessarily reliable.  We encourage people to conduct thorough research, through more than one forum/medium, before making final decisions about an particular individual or business.  After all, no business can please 100% of their customers 100% of the time.  Sometimes there are miscommunications.  Sometimes a business’s staff member is having a bad day.  Sometimes the customer is having a bad day.  Warranted or not…all businesses get complaints.  We believe it’s how businesses take care of the complaints that separates good businesses from the rest.

The above Rebuttal author had the opportunity to write a calmly worded Rebuttal to explain their position regarding the Report at issue.  They did so, in part – but then chose to lash out at Ripoff Report by writing their own version of the truth claiming that Ripoff Report will “ contact you when a post occurs on their site and offers you a chance to "mediate".  This is factually inaccurate.  Ripoff Report gets volumes of Rebuttals and Ripoff Report does NOT go out of its way to contact named parties  offering a chance to “mediate”.  True, Ripoff Report has a VIP Arbitration program, however, the program is not “several thousand dollars” as the Rebuttal Author above suggests.  The current cost of the VIP Arbitration program is $2,000 which goes to pay the professional arbitrator for his/her time and the administration of the program. Sorry, but this is just not a money maker for us folks…and if you think Arbitration is expensive, try finding out what arbitrators cost per hour and what it costs to launch a full blown litigation. Perhaps one would change their tune about the fees associated with the program.   Further, the Rebuttal author is also incorrect in stating “And they still will not remove the lies posted” because if a challenged statement of fact is found to be false by the arbitrator, that information will be redacted pursuant to the VIP Arbitration Rules.  All of this information is clearly outlined on our website at the following URL: www.ripoffreport.com/arbitration.aspx.  The above person is just angry and as they allege has happened to them, is now making up their own version of the truth against Ripoff Report.  Sorry…but while you are entitled to your opinion about Ripoff Report, you are not entitled to make up your own facts about Ripoff Report.

Consumers – if a business reaches out to you to try and resolve a problem, whether it be through postings on our website or other avenues, we encourage you to work with the business and work through the situation with fairness in mind.  Sometimes a resolution just cannot be reached and each party is entitled to his/her opinion about the situation.  We don’t condone businesses trying to take advantage of consumers – that’s why our website was started in the first place.  At the same time, we don’t condone consumers, other business competitors, or disgruntled ex-employees or partners trying to take advantage of businesses either.  To all parties:  Keep it calm.  Keep it honest.  Keep it fair. Do your research.  Don’t be the kid that gets caught copying test answers from your neighbor who actually has the worst grades in class.  Make appropriate educated decisions based on the most reliable, up to date and current information available.

 I am the owner and it is a shame I have to waste my time with this nonsense.  The company that is referred to in this statment did this to their sef.  This company let greed get the better of them and need someone to blame.  I have not changed my name 3 times to try and hide the truth.  The BBB had so many negatives against this person Tracy who they speak highly of has had so many bad checks and so forth it is not worth my time or energy.  I just wish that this company would leave me alone because they are just desperate.  I have had to contact a lawyer prior to this for harassment and it looks like I need to contact them again.  All I have to say is shame on you and move on
