More than a week ago I deposited a check into my checking account. Desert Schools Federal Credit Union still has not released the funds and has instead charged me $455 in Insufficient Funds. According to my statement, I have the money to cover my purchased, but the bank says that money is not available for me to use. When I asked what's going on they gave me some excuse of with their new process they are able to process purchases faster, I guess that doesn't apply to releasing funds faster. I recently lost my job and need to pay bills and my rent, because it's taken so long to release the funds, I'll be homeless. I would just like for them to release the funds and reimburse me the $455 in NSF fees they have charged me. I'm completely devastated by the way I've been treated and fearful that because of this bank I will be homeless.

You don't keep any written records and certainly don't keep an on going running balance derived from those records, do you? You ran up all these NSF charges because you continued to use the card while having absolutely zero idea how much you have in the account. NO RIPOFF HERE -- Complainer apparently doesn't keep written records or running balance information. As such, complainer has run up large amount of NSF fees due to their own mismanagement of their account.
