I applied to a Web Design job post online and received a phone call from an individual by the name of Brianna who was representing www.devmontdesigns.com. They hired me immediately during our first phone call and had me fill out a contract with their company via remote desktop login application. The worst part is that they did not provide me with a copy of the legally binding contract, and still refuse to do so. The project manager Holland Jackson called me and asked me to pay for an online training course so that I can have the proper training before I start my job. I paid the $71 to attend this bogus online academy called www.thefreelanceracademy.com ran by an individual name Tyler Brewman which I suspect is Holland Jackson. What I found suspicious was the academy had [email protected] in their calendar as the contact email. I found that Buevo is owned by Holland Jackson who supposedly had no relations to that academy.

Anyways, I ended up watching free YouTube videos and not once did Tyler Brewman provide any personalized training himself. After I had completed watching the videos, they had me take an online test that was pulled from a completely different website and none of the "training" videos covered any of the questions that were on the test, which I found quite strange. After passing the so-called test, I received some home-made certificate which stated that I had learned Website Security which I did not as none of the free YouTube videos nor the test actually covered web security. The company's job post on indeed stated that I will need learn Website Firewall and Malware Security to do my job, and not a single time did the videos discuss any of those things. They posted a job ad that is misleading as it states that I would be working for them for 30/hrs a week, instead they had me sign up to freelancer.com and find freelance jobs "in case their company didn't have enough work for me" per Holland Jackson via SMS. This company is involved in an online scam and refuses to refund my money.

I will be filing a lawsuit against these individuals named in the above paragraph for participating in an online scam. If you or anyone you know has been contacted by any of these fraudsters, please put a comment below. Thank you.

Devmont Designs, Devemont Development, Buevo.net, and thefreelanceracemdy are a part of a scam.

I found the job listing through indeed.com and took a chance only to lead to no work.

I have been technically working as an independant contractor for Devmont Designs for a few days now after had "training" from their academy for a "Web Developer Certificate" which was required to start the supposed job. I have not seen a single piece of work as of yet. They set me up with some email address and told me to wait for an email. No email, and now they are ducking my calls and ignoring my texts. It's been a few days since I heard anything.

Don't pay for anything! They are scammers!

Can't say I didn't warn you

Dear Dylan/Holland, How is it that you have my full legal name when I posted my name as Ray?

It is clear that this individual is actually Holland Jackson, leaving comments to persuade readers that he's a satisfied employee. He states that he has "heard about me" as if his employer would discuss another persons personal matters with a contract employee. He posted a comment with my full legal name, clearly proving to me that he is infact Holland Jackson. Fraudster!

HOLLAND JACKSON IS A FRAUD, STAY AWAY FROM HIM AND HIS FRAUD COMPANY!

I too got ripped off by this FRAUDSTER Holland Jackson and he refused to refund my money. He may believe that he is smart, ripping people off but once my attorney prepares the lawsuit he will have to explain himself in court. Anyone thinking about working with this fraudster needs to read these reports and use best judgement. He will take your money, give you a fake home-made certificate which is useless in the real world and send you off with nothing.

HOLLAND JACKSON IS A COMPLETE FRAUD AND NEEDS TO BE PUT IN JAIL

Dear Raymond Darbinyan,

Ive heard about you!

I have been a website designer with this company for over a year now. I strarted off just like this you, I got training, Got a certificate and then stey started hooking me up with work. I heard that YOU ran off and started calling everything a scam before you even let them offer you work. On top of that you say you "signed" a contract, so it obivously seems to me that no one forced this job or training on you. Also How come you attended all of the training sessions, took a test, and then received a certificate of completion but didnt complain until now???

I don't see how having you sign up to freelancer.com "in case their company didn't have enough work for me" is a scam? It sounds like they were trying to do their best to make sure you would always be working. This job also says that your an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR, not an employee.

These people also kept a open line of cumminication with you, YOU chose to quit.

Bottom Line you paid $71 for training and took a test and passed so obivously you got what you paid for. It sounds to me like you just an over dramatic guy crying he got scammed when he didnt. Good luck taking that to court, especially since you sat down and signed a proposal. The filing fee is more than you paid for the training which is hilarious.
