You are entitled to seek justice, that is your right. What troubles me the most is how you call it a "garbage" degree even though it is not. DeVry might have trouble being branded to employers, but there is success, if success is persued. I know many examples where people like yourself have found success. It's not what the degree can do for you, it's what you can do with the degree. What also troubles me on top of that is the fact how you graduated since 1997. That was more than ten years ago, and now you want to make a stance against it? Come on buddy, I know your situation like many others differ in perspective, but if DeVry was that terrible, it would have been shut down long ago and never given accreditation.

would first like to thank the persons who comment to my thread. My case is much more than what I posted with more detail to explain all of the questions you asked. But I will say that I did graduate from Devry and we did not receive diplomas but instead a roll of paper at graduation to resemble a Diploma, photo shots. DeVry Long Beach was new at that time and I was in the first graduating class. What was done to me was wrong no matter how much you would like to discredit my statement justice will be served.

I am sorry to hear about your dilemma, but since you are a graduate shouldn't your degree reflect the program you had initially started with, unless you actually didn't graduate? The program at DeVry is now called Network Communications Management (TCOM) not BSTM. Either you are misinformed or do not know how to do research online. Have you gone to Career Services for assistance in finding a job in your field? Since you are of ex-military you are eligible for many programs to assist you for loans and financial aid. Please look for these resources instead of bad-mouthing a higher education opportunity such as this one. Oh and by the way DeVry or any real higher education institute will not guarantee you employment so don't put your misery on that aspect. Cheers!
