I pay over $160 month for Internet while living in Afghanistan.  Thats right, $160 a month for speeds up too 5 mb/s.  When DHI is working I can see my speeds sometimes reach 3 mb/s which I can live with.  The thing that kills me is that the services seem to be down almost every other day.  And when it goes down it stays down for hours on end I get a nice little email saying that I will be credited the down time but I have never got extra time at the end of my 30 day $160 purchase.  This has got to be the worst service provided in the history of ISPs.  What would be an easy decision for any paying customer and choose another ISP is an impossible choice for everyone living in the "Wonderful" place.  See DHI is the only ISP.  That's right the only provider of these services.  You would think that for the 5000+ people who pay anywhere from $40-$200 a month they would have the greatest service known to man.  Unfortunately for us, it is not.  The "services" that are provided here are in no way justified for the outrages prices we pay.
