Today is a Christmas Day. Who knew that these people don't have anything saint. Me and my husband were walking on the Broadway street, enjoying the Christmas and saw the store "Digital Depot", we decided to see what they have. My husband asked if they have a remote control for our Canon digital camera. They said they do. The showed us how it works, they said 150. Our mistake was that we didn't researched this product before.
We thought it probably the right price, since this is a store and if any $5-10 dollars difference from the market price its ok, since the store has to make some money too. We put the purchase on our charge card, my husband signed the receipt, but they didn't give a copy. (it was well planned) So, when we came home, looked online the retail price in the Best Buy was $39.99, on e-bay can find for $20.00
It feels so bad that we've being fooled on the Christmas Day, in the center of New York in legal place, where a lot of illegal things going on. I overpaid 300%. I see I am not the only one. Why NY can't close them? I think its enough claims and these guys keep doing this. I also going to write a letter to Canon and let them know about this store as well.

they offered a product for a price...YOU decided at the time that it was a fair price...YOU decided to pay it without knowing anything about what the product may normally cost. They are to blame for your own laziness? I think not....the only ripoff here is being perpetrated by you in blaming this store for your own lack of research or common sense
