Dillards Furniture delivery guys stole my Digital camera in my house!!!! Dallas Texas
I bought two leather sofas from Dillard's worth $1300 and paid $70 for delivery. Three Dillard's delivery guys guys came to my house on a Saturday to deliver my sofas. They placed the sofas in the family room and while me and my husband were inspecting the sofas to check for any damage and trying to make sure the reclining mechanism works, one of the guys stole the digital camera which was on the breakfast table. I had placed the digital camera there in the process of clearing the place for the sofas to be placed. Just a few minutes after they left we realized that the digital camera was missing. We immediately knew they had taken it and called the company to lodge a complaint and also to ask the delivery guy's names but the delivery head manager was very rude and refused to give any information.
The digital camera had hundreds of photographs of our new born baby girl which we had not downloaded and though we complained to Dillard's, nobody was helpful. They were very rude and did not acknowledge anything.
I am warning the public to be very careful when you deal with delivery guys even from reputed stores such as Dillard's. Be careful next time you buy furniture from Dillard's. They are big time cheaters!!!!
We feel so violated to have somebody come into our house and steal the camera which had invaluable pictures of our baby.
