Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Member since 1989. I have order hundreds of thousands of $ of furniture. I have gotten my $ worth, but TRULY the aggravation is not worth it, especially since I paid $1500 dues and now they are 4000+. I tried years ago to get back, but couldnt' so I had to learn!

I have a sofa stolen from them, it has taken 9 months and I am still waiting, should have been 3-4 at most. James Gagan has told me he doesn't give a f*** about me or the order. He said I cussed and threatened "the girls" up there. I owned and ran a 35M Company so I would never act the way he did.

Now I have proof that I didn't. James now tells me he is giving me the sofa which cost me $4800, giving me all my $ back for the sofa and cancelling my membership. I said "you can't theres a contract". He told me he could do any f***ing thing he wants because he owns the company.

So far, no sofa, no money. Shouldn't some hungry attorney see that they could make money by putting this company out of business, where they should be and Mr. Gagan should have to reimburse all the memberships of the people who want refunds since he refunds those who don't even want a refund! They want excuses to cancel old members, they don't make their money off 8%, they make it on memberships, so I am sure as a big spender I am just an annoyance, LAWYERS LISTEN UP! Isn't that illegal or something.

So my advice if you want a refund call Mr. Gagan personally, have Linda get him out of a meeting 800 827 6400 he will be so annoyed he will SAYS he will give you money back, of course you will hear profanity! I have been a member 17 years, and it has gotten so bad with the franchises going out, the service if the francise stays open, then no service even when order is three times late.

BEWARE! I wish there was a way all of you could e-mail me. United we stand!

Bottom line - you get things for less than what they cost in stores - especially when you are making big purchases for you home

Why did you pay the renewal fee?

My question is, why did you pay the renewal fee for your membership for so many years if you were being ripped off? Depending on which center you joined, your initial fee covers 2 or 3 years, after that you pay a renewal fee. I know because I have renewed my membership for several years. if you thought you were being ripped off why didn't you cut your losses and not renew your membership for 15 years? Doesn't make sense. it sounds like there is some other beef here and maybe that is why some money hungry lawyer has not put them out of business!
