 I called to inquire about ordering NFL Sunday Ticket on 9/22/13 and got Jerrica, a promotion specialist, on the line. She gave me the details of the promo which was a 24mo contract at $29.99/mo for all of my NFL games any time they were on air in a format that was compatible with my HD TV. She took considerable time taking my order, asking me tons of questions, and charging my credit card $28.35 for the shipping and handling of their equipment. On installation day, 9/26, the first tech came (after I had taken off work the whole afternoon) and said he could not install it b/c he could not get a good signal. I had to contact a manager who sent a senior tech back to my home who was able to get a good signal and install the equipment. This took well over 3 hours. By now it's after 7pm and I'm thinking we're almost finished. Oh no - the tech informs me that I need an HD box in order to receive my NFL games in HD and that's not what the promo specialist ordered for me. Long story short, there would be AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE each month. BAIT AND SWITCH!!! We called and spoke to a "manager" on the phone, Kelley, who WOULD NOT HONOR the promo I was given on 9/22!!! I even have a contract that was emailed to me, although "conveniently" it does not specific the type of receiver I was to get with my deal. I even told her I would file a complaint with my state's attorney general's office and would blog about their deplorable customer service but she was willing to not honor my deal and cause negative press about her company - shame on her! I'm sure her boss will not be too pleased with what she has done. Now I will have to battle with them to get my money back that they have already charge my credit card. I hope there's a class action suit against them - I'll be getting involved with that for sure! BEWARE DIRECT TV!!!

 What did your contract state???? As for the class action good luck.  The only person who makes any money on a Class Action Suit is the attorney(s).
