I am reporting to others, NOT TO USE a friend's card for a pay per view ( even though that friend is not on directv account.)
To make a long story short. I was going to upgrade to hd and directv wanted to charge me an additional $75 to put it on a different pole since I would not allow it to be put on my doublewide roof.(they already had a dish on a light pole) I had directv for a number of years.
 I called their competition and had them come out and install a system and for much cheaper per month for the same programming.
My card I had on file was no longer good so they applied my final bill to my friend's card that was not even listed as responsible party for my bill in any way shape or form. They sent me a final bill of zero balance. I called them pertaining to this but they are not going to reimburse him for the money they took from his bank account (which I am not even on)
My advice to others..... STAY AWAY FROM DIRECTV!!
