Well, the fact is, every piece of information that you need to make an informed decision about directv services is included in every single piece of promotional material directv advertises with. The fact that you or your father failed to pay attention to the fine print is really not relevant. The fact that you don't agree with the fine print is not relevant. The fact is that you signed the work order and activated you equipment and doing so is a legally binding agreement to the services offered, not to mention the writing in the customer agreement, specifically Section 1(d) "Accordingly, we must reserve the unrestricted right to change, rearrange, add or delete our programming packages, the selections in those packages, our prices, and any other Service we offer, at any time." and Section 5, explaining any possible cancellation fees. No consumer walks blindly into an agreement. So if any constructive criticism could be offered, I suggest you pay better attention. Even Dish Network has fine print, have you read it yet?
