as a directv employee, i have found that so many customers don't seem to read their contract agreement. i signed a paper when i first got directv which was long before i started working for them. the installer had me sign a paper and i read over all the fine print. i knew if i cancelled there would be an early termination fee and i knew the length of my contract. i also knew that i signed an agreement authorizing them to debit my account should i fail to meet the requirements of the contract. there are so many customers that don't read that and then try to say that directv illegally took their money...which is not true. the day your service was activated you agreed to it.

They go and change their policy after someone signs up with them. I you make a one-time payment on-line their system retreaves your card infoso that they can take your money with out telling you or hoping that you don't catch it. I WILL NEVER REFER DIRECTV TO ANYONE EVER.. Directv will pay for what they are doing to their customers when the great one above comes back. donald

Do you have tracking info to show that the boxes were returned? If you used the prepaid label they gave you it is traceable through their systems. If tracking shows dtv received the boxed, they will refund you, but I doubt it will be directly to your account. They will issue a check.
