Be careful when dealing with Blinds, Shutters and Suncreen companies. They are famous for sending the wrong items, over charging, ruining the product, some times not even sending the product and sometimes going out of business or changing their name and location. This happens all the time in this industry. I know i was in the biz for many years. Buyers beware.

I did just do a rebuttal because I didn't even know about this website till the other day and now that I know of it I am tring to help were ever I can. I don't know why I was brought into this since I was just an employee that was doing what was told to me. I asked for information on each customer that I was in contact with. Once I recieved the information that the owners gave me I passed it on to the customer. Once I found out that the information that they gave me was a lie I walked out. I worked in the office from 11/21/2005 to 12/02/05. As I said before, Once I found out that I wasn't being told the truth I walked out. CHARGE BACK YOU CARD IF YOU CAN!!!

Discount Blind & Shade Factory (aka Blind & Shade Factory). Kristen Wolf- Chief Financial Officer (0wner). Kenneth J. Montoya - Chief Executive Officer (owner). Mychael Margott -Chairman of the Board. Greg Davis - Chief Administration Officer. Also involed in the Simi Valley, California operation of Discount Blind & Shade Factory. Nils Merrigan -Office Manager. I was promised on 11/23/05 by Nils Merrigan that I would be refunded my money if my shutters were not done. He was going to check his 'list' and get back to me. On 11/29/05 Nils said that the shutters would be ready on 12/16/05. I asked him to honor his committment and refund our money as the product was not being delivered as promised and we could not count on the new date as so many of the other dates came and went and nothing ever materialized. Nils refused to issue the refund saying that he only ment we could have our refund if the shutters were not 'in production'. This is NOT the agreement he made. "Done" does not mean "in production".
