DISCOUNT AUTO SALVAGE LARRY JORDAN,JUNIOR,ALL OTHERS Stole $340.00 MOUNT CLEMENS Michigan
On 10/05/2016, I bought a used transmission 4L60E for my 1997 Chevy 4x4 from this place with a gurantee that if it does not work, I could bring it back within 48 hours and exchange it for another one. When I took it to my mechanic, he told me it was the wrong one and different style trans. It would not fit. The very next day, I returned it and in good faith hoping to get another transmission or the one that would fit. They had one come in that was still in the vehicle and would have it out by the end of the day. Well, after numerous calls, they told me that the trans was being taken out and the one they sold me earlier was sold as is. So I asked for my money back. They told me that they don't do refunds either. So I asked for the other trans(the first one) back. It was sold already. Then they wanted to give me a trans that has high milage of 310,000 miles on it. I said no and demanded my money back because it was/is within the 48 hour grace period that is stated on their receipts. After going round and round with the sales guy, I finally told him that I was going to make a police report because they basically STOLE $340.00 of my money and didn't give me a transmission. No money, No trans!!
