Discount Gold Brokers Adam and Mike i purchased $10,000. of silver bars and their refuse to deliver to me. All my calls are ignored. Sherman Oaks California
In December 2013 I purchased 50 silver 10 oz. bars from Discount Gold. I called them in Sherman Oaks, Ca. from a advertisement on CNN tv. They accepted my check for over $10,000. and were very nice and courteous. They said I would receiv my shipment within 2-4 weeks. When I did not hear from them in 6 weeks I phnned and they passed me around with different people all telling me they would call me back in a day or two. I have never received a single phone call in 30 days despite my numerous phone calls to them. I fear this is a real live scam in SoCal.

I dug further and discovered that we have recently issued an enforcement action against Discount Gold Brokers, Inc., on April 15 of last year. The “Desist & Refrain” order prohibits further sale of commodities to California customers. Please feel free to advertise the order against the company as you see fit. You may reproduce the actual order or provide the link to our website where it is posted: dbo.ca.gov/ENF/pdf/2013/DiscountGoldBrokers_dr.pdf.
As for current customers with grievances, the best advice I can give is for individuals to file a complaint with the California Department of Business Oversight so that we can further our official investigation into the company. Our complaints page is a dbo.ca.gov/Consumers/consumer_services.asp.
