Discount Mortgage Relief, John Common Fraud please stay away Scottsdale, Arizona
Please aviod this company at all costs. Learn from my $2100 mistake.
I have attached a complaint that I have filed below. After being personally swindolled by John Common himself, I am trying to take every effort to ensure that as many people as possible know about this classic con artist.
I find it ironic that Mr. John Common himself would post the story about giving a supposed drug addict a second chance and trying to impeach the credibility of the poster on this site, when John Common himself has had Federal Corruption trouble of his own to deal with. (Just Google it) Here is my story of being taken by this criminal
My name is Tim Radmore and I am not afriad to give my name and tell the truth unlike discount mortgage. Because of a lay off I contacted Discount mortgage because I thought they might be of assistance. After being assured that if they were unable to help me I would recieve a full refund I paid 1695.00 for Discount Mortgage to assist. After jumping through hoops to provide every single piece of information they asked for, I was told that they would submit my information to the bank and the bank had 60 days to get back to me. After 59 days I had heard absolutely nothing so I called Discount and they said, "Oh the bank hasn't responded yet." Out of curiosity I called the Bank to see what they had heard. To my suprise they had heard nothing from dicount. I call discount mortgage back to see what in the world was happening. The next day the bank called me and said they recieved the information from discount mortgage however since the information was already over 2 months old they couldn't use it. To rule out that the bank wasn't lying to me I ask them to send me the electronic confirmation of the time the fax was recieved, which they did and not to shockingly it was the day I called into Discount Mortgage after not hearing from them for 2 months. I asked discount to send my the electronic confirmations of the communications that they had sent to the bank and they could not. (Legal Requirement to retain this information). Discount said they would "look into it." I have called them several times since no no return phone calls. I disputed the charges with my credit card and Discount Mortgage falt out lied to them and said I provided false information to them on the information I provide to Discount. It is one thing for this company to be criminals and thiefs it is an entirely different thing for them to slander my credibility with a third party. Truth be known I would have probably would have let this go as a shame on me lessons learned. However, a dog like Discount slandering my good name with a third party will not be tolerated. I will be taking this to small claims court and will win, because the facts and truth are on my side. Not to suprisingly the BB gives Discount Mortgage an F rating, (easy to find just go to BBB.com and look up discount mortgage relief.

I too was also a victim of this unscrupulous company along with its owners John Common and Bruce Spurlock. They charged me on my credit card when they said they would not until a certain date but took it upon their selves to go ahead and take this payment before time along with other payments that were not authorized. My suggestion to you is to do what I did and contact the attorney generals office in the state that you are in along with the state that they are located in (Arizona). I also checked the bank for my documents that they requested and found that none of the information that I had provided was sent. After several attempts in trying to contact them to resolve this nothing was still worked on. I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT NO CONSUMER USE THIS COMPANY!!! IF YOU ARE A CURRENT CLIENT CALL AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK AND GO WITH A RELIABLE COMPANY. I learned a valuable lesson and finding out it is better to do the research on a company prior to doing business with them. Had I only googled this man I would of been much better off. Luckily I did find a company that was able to help me and grateful that I did find them before loosing my house.
p.s. You cannot even call into this company to try and speak to someone. If it quacks like a duck!!!

If you need any help Tim I would be more than happy to give you any information. Ive worked for John Common for 3 months or so and I know all the inside information- things he has us say to customers and customers he told us not to answer there call to- procedures and i recorded some employees changing the information of the clients to make sure they get qualified and take money from them. John common told us that the QWR is what saves there home etc. When in reality that means nothing to anyone and has no relevance to a loan mod. I also recorded john common cussing me out and verbally threatening me when i asked for the remaining amount of my paycheck he screwed me over on and still havent recieved it. email me at (((ROR redacted))) we can talk from there- i can forward you more information
