As a former employee of Discount Mortgage Relief (and major lenders such as Chase and Wells Fargo) I urge you categorically do NOT have Discount Mortgage Relief do your loan modification. They are setup to take your money and to provide as little a service as possible to their "clients". The testimonials they provide are fake as well. The employees are taught to lie and most have no idea what they are talking about, which is why if you get them off their script they are clueless.

If you have tried to contact them after you fork over between $1,000 and $4,000 to have them do your loan modification, you have probably noticed it is very difficult. No one there even has voicemail and this is how the management wants it...as DIFFICULT as possible for you to get in touch with them. When you try to call, you will be hung up on, placed on hold in a phone system that moved you in the queue down to #1 in line, then bumps you back up to 30. That's how they want it. They say the phone system is being upgraded, but my clients said they were told that for months. I was even reprimanded for taking ownership and personally getting a processor on the line for a client. I was told to put them back in the phone system, instead of making sure the client got what they needed. They keep every single door locked, even though there is building security, to prevent those who have been cheated out of their money from coming face to face to speak with someone.

Here are better ways to get a hold of them.  You should contact Kathy at: 480-375-8944 or e-mail James Fuller at: [email protected] or e-mail owner John at: [email protected].  For anyone who works there, the e-mail format is the same, so get first and last name (although they will probably change it after this post).  And, come on, do you really think the name "John Common" ISN'T made up?  Do some research, especially in Washington and California.  These people want to leave no traces and get away with their scheme.  Based on what I have seen, the "leadership" of Mortgage Relief should all be in jail, and with any luck (as well as the help of people they have stolen from) that's where they will be some day.

Anyway, back to the company's operations: the sales people have NO mortgage experience and are reading 100% off of script the corrupt owner "John Common" put together.  They don't like people with experience, such as myself, because we know how the industry works and spot the fraud from the beginning.  I could not stomach being there for more than a few days.

It's absolutely disgusting.  They try to prey on seniors, which is why most of their ads target that demographic and nearly every lead generated is someone who is at least 60 years old. If I had the authority to shut them down right now, I would do so and make all of their information public.

If you want to get a loan modification done, call a REAL LAW FIRM. A good resource is findlaw.com. You should trust your home to people who know what they are doing and really care, not the sleezeball "legal team" at Mortgage Relief.  For the record, I know of no attorneys who actually work there.  It's all a lie in the BS sales pitch they spew.  And I would never recommend this company to anyone.

But, don't take my word for it. It's YOUR home on the line. This company, like "John's" other failed companies will probably not be around long enough for you to see a loan modification completed or get your money back. Ripoffreport Report Image
