Short and sweet! They took my things on Oct. 22. 2003, they had a major accident on Oct. 23. 2003 and destroyed all my things, they lied to me for 2 months about the condition of my things, when I discovered that my belongings were destroyed they vanished- refused to talk to me or give insurance. And they do not care! Yes I have contacted lawyers, BBB. National Motor Carriers, local news, beg pleaded---NO HELP anywhere.

There is a new law governing moves within the state of Florida. I don't know the specifics of it, since I don't live there, but a good search engine can give you more information. The actual bill's wording is here: http://www.leg.state.fl.us/data/session/2002/House/bills/billtext/pdf/h0893er.pdf You may be able to find something in it to help your case, if you want to press charges. Ever since the FBI cracked down on the corrupt movers, the Florida legislation stepped up to create new laws governing moves only inside the state of Florida. Now if only the US government would follow suit!
