On 27 June, 2001 I discovered that dish network had illegally chared my credit card six times in two days for $119.00 each time. I complained to my credit union and dish network that day. It appears that they charged me for two recievers that shipped back to them upon terminating my service. According to the UPS tracking info, they recieved those recievers on 15 June, 2001. I recieved $349.00 on July tenth. To this day (4 August, 2001) I have yet to recieve the rest of my money even though by federal law they only have 30 days to refund it. Not only have they thrown the over a dozen complaints I have made and the BBB report I made to them back in my face, they feel they are above federal banking statutes as well. I hope anyone shopping for satellite tv service will read this and let dish network know why they will not be getting YOU as a customer. They screwed me and they'll screw you to.

I dont even work for Dish netorks but if he would of read the contracts he signed, or authorized he would know why they made these charges were made. If you cut off your service before the end of your contract is up these charges will be made the reason being is the equipment installed cost more than what the satelite provider charges, so they make their money back through the service over a period of time, once your contract is over they just break even. Like I said I dont even work for this company i just hate to see a company get riped on because someone is ignorant.
