If you think there's something there worth watching (I really don't), order directly from the main companies: dishnetwork.com or directv.com. They both offer free installation and a rebate. Any time you have a middleman involved with his finger in the pie, there is less pie for you. Anything sold by unsoliced email is either a total rip-off or a deal that any legit source could beat easily.

the RS people may have been confused... who knows. But having two companies involved makes the finger-pointing-polka a very probable event. I watched some satellite TV (or cable TV? who knows) in my wife's hospital room this past June and I did not think it would be worth $30 or $40 a month to us. We have an OPPO DVD player ($200 at OPPO) and a Vizio Bravo-1 tuner with AUX input ($150 at Vizio). Both provide really excellent upscaling or upconverting into 1080i HD to feed our LCD HDTV. So we watch all DVD's, as well as our VCR tapes, in excellent HD. We don't need no stinking cable or satellite TV. One year of Dish Network or DirectTV would cost more than the $350 I spent, and NO HASSELS!! NetFlix or your local grocery will rent you DVDs for cheap. Think about it.
