So last July got a call from these people atating that we were liable for $2000 csll hone bill fro m ATT....Wrong@!! we dont have an Att account, upon further checking some openig up an account usding my husband SS# mothers maiden name and birthdate .
Spoke with a women @ DC, corporate office she was really nice and gave me a ton of info as to when the account was opened and wher ( new York ) we live in RI. She told us to fill out an Att dispute report ,and get a police report as well. All of which we did.
Att sent us a letter stating that we were NOT reponsible for the charges after looking into the fact that we were in RI durimg the montes of the accont being opened and there was sufficinet infornmation to show that were were a victim of identity theft.
That was August of 2012..Fast forward to today 6/2013, and I get ANOTHER call for DC saying that were are AGAIN repsonsible for the SAME charges after ATT contacted us last year with a letter stating that WE were not!!!!!! WTFFFFFF is this just some scam to see if we are that dumb??? I am looking into filing a class action lawsuite against them, or for harrassment.. Anyone else on board?
