DOBA, Max-E-Biz, ECommerce Rocket DOBA RIPOFF OREM Internet, UTAH
I was approached by a representive of a company called Max-E-Biz offering to build me a money-making website arrange for products and coach me to make my website successful. I told them I could not afford their $499 offer. They brought it down to $100 and I agreed to give them a try.
I was soon approached by a representative of Doba offering to provide drop-shipping facilities for my business with a guarantee of the lowest drop ship price and over 2 million in-demand products. They offered a 7-day trial and an annual fee of $399. I also told them I could not afford it at the time. I was offered a $100 discount anf agreement to accept a monthly payment over 3 months so I went along with that.
When I contacted Max-E-Biz about the Website, they said someone will contact me to obtain the necessary information to build a suitable website. I was approached by a company called E Commerce Rocket who said they would build the website for me and offered a range of different prices to market my site and get traffic. The different packages ranged from $4,000 to $12,000 and advised that they could only guarantee success with a $12,000 package. I told them the most I could afford was $300 and they said that won't be enough and referred me to their Customer Service to arrange for setting up an Ebay account and training on Ebay and that I would get products from Doba.
The Ebay Training with another company called Power Sellers Center was pretty good, and I started putting Doba products on Ebay. With the training from Power Sellers, I was able to attract a lot of interest in my offers but after more than 50 stings, I have not been able to sell one single Doba product on Ebay.Ebay advised me to drop my prices to make them more competitive, but my starting prices were basically what Doba charged me plus the minimal Ebay fees where applicable. I noticed that similar products were being sold on Ebay and in promotions on Ebay for less than the wholesale prices that Doba was charging me.
So I am paying Doba up front for their guaranteed lowest priced services but their wholesale price is higher than the retail prices elsewhere. They do not give refunds. Their associates E Commerce Rocket and Max-E-Biz, after six months, have not yet set up the WebStore, which I paid for, and are requesting thousands of dollars for services which they promised were included in my payment to them.
What a RipOff!
