This place is horrible, and non customer friendly. My mother took them a laptop, that had some issues booting up. They gave her some outlandish price to fix, pretty much the cost of the laptop, as it is a 6 year old laptop. She declined over the phone, and they told her it would be a couple of days before they would have it ready, as they had all the screws out, and hadn't gotten around to putting it back. She told them don't worry about, as I(her son) would put it back together(thinking it was just a few screws out of the bottom). I got it later that day, and that laptop was completely taken apart, I mean the screen wasn't even attached to the bottom part(the keyboard) anymore.(Everything was neat but still.) I took the laptop back up there, in the box they gave it to her in, and asked them to put it together, not even an hour later. The guy at the front shrugged, and said if I even tough this, I'm going to charge it the 75 diagnostics fee. Are you serious? She just left an hour ago? And seventy-five dollars diagnostics fee? Are you serious? I'm pissed at my mother for even taking it here. Audio Video Repair Specialists off Ft. Campbell Blvd only charge $25 diagnostic fee...Do Not Use DogHouse Computer

Dear Ms. Clark,

We were sorry to see that your son posted a complaint regarding service from DogHouse Computers Inc.

It is my understanding that you requested the computer be returned while in pieces because you disagreed with the diagnostic fee.  I know you understand that it takes labor (that isnt free) to diagnose a problem.  This is why we ask our customers to agree to a diagnostic fee prior to our technicians taking the time to figure out  the problem.  We waived the fee, in your case, because we didnt want an unhappy customer and returned it to you, per your request.

Your son states we gave you an outlandish price to fix the problem which cost close to the price of your computer.  Unfortunately, this is the nature of the business.  When computers get old and outdated it is sometimes cheaper to buy a new one than fix the older one.  We see this every day.  We understand that most people simply want their older model to work and we strive to make this happen but depending on the problem, it can be costly.  And then youre left with older technology.
Computers seem to be a necessary evil at times.  I do understand your situation.

It was not our intent for you to leave dissatisfied and we want you to know your business is important to us.  If the technician that helped you was in any way rude please let us know.  If you would like to respond to this email, we welcome your feedback.

Im not sure what we can do to regain your business but we hope to see you again.
