I'm pretty sure I am the one who purchased your boxer. She is paid for in full and should have been delivered to me by 10/25/07. They told me you were paid and that you wanted to hold the puppy because of a respitory cold. Is this a female with DOB 8/25/07? The original photo I saw had her sitting on a pink blanket.

Please understand you may have problems with this company but I was told it was one of the partners who created the problems, not all were involved. I also want people to understand, many of us small legitimate breeders used this website to sell our puppies. They added on a fee for selling our puppies but at the same time we couldn't afford to advertise the way they did. We handled the shipping and all the paperwork for the puppies on our own. I have been selling boxers with this company since first part of 2007. They have sold several for me and I have no problems, until the last puppy which I as yet, have not been paid for but did receive a call assuring me it would be paid shortly. They have done a good job for me and I have found nothing wrong with the way my puppy sales were handled. I guess the main thing I wanted to say is there are small breeders who used this company to sell their puppies. We are not all puppy mills or bad breeders because we used this company. It is like families or other business, there are always bad seeds but not all should be punished for what one or two did. I am sorry for your problems with your pets, I hope you can get it resolved but the internet is not all bad, you just want to get references and check them out before you buy.

Apologies to Donna (though you have still have to stop exaggerating!). Just discovered dogsales.com, exactly the same format as the just closed anypets.com. The company went out of business on Thursday, the 18th and avoided making payroll on the 19th. And now it's up and running again, on line, with only a change in the name of the company!? This can't be legal.

No doubt many people have been hurt either from being ex-employees or customers of Any Pets, Inc. I'm one of the former. But again, you make claims without appearing to have any basis for them, which only hurts the cause of those who have legitimate claims of having been wronged by the company and James Schwinn. Do you, for example, have proof that DogFather Inc. is selling dogs on-line? Dogfather happens to be the name of a comic strip Schwinn developed; he may be a crook but he's a creative crook. Do you have proof that "hundreds" of people, as you wrote, have been ripped off here. I've found five entries on RipOff Report and can infer a few others from the BBB report on the company; do you have some information to which the rest of us don't have access? What, in real terms, have you actually done to obtain some justice here? Embellishing a wrong only makes you look foolish, madam, and doesn't help the cause of those who have been harmed, including yourself, though it strikes me that the ex-employees who worked, didn't get paid for a minimum of several weeks of labor and collectively are owed 10's of thousands of dollars have gotten the brunt of the shaft here. You, at least, got a dog.
